Undersea Mystery Object could it be the "Millennium Falcon"?

Undersea mystery object
Sonar Scan of the mystery object

Although the headline is a bit fanciful this article perhaps would make some sort of science fiction story. Are there any elements of truth to this blog? Perhaps some but it does help to make up the word allocation.

A group of researchers looking for a shipwreck have found an unusual “structure” some 300ft
beneath the ocean between Sweden and Finland. The object is not the ship they were looking for.

The research team were surprised to say the least when sonar scans taken while searching for a 100 year old ship wreck turned up something completely different an unusual depression on the sea floor.

Although the images are somewhat grainy they do show a large object or structure embedded on the sea floor.

Already the rumour mill has gone into overdrive with some speculating that it could be an ancient UFO that crash landed.

Some have even suggested it resembles the from the Star Wars series, with its distinctive front and rounded shape.

I think some are guilty of an overactive imagination or have been watching too many Star Wars re runs.

The images do show a shape has formed on the ocean floor. Is it likely to be a UFO ?.

Anything is possible, while it could be a UFO the probability of being so is highly unlikely.

Several core samples would give us a better clue as to the origin of the mystery undersea object.

The object is about 60ft in diameter and clearly visible on the sea bed.
There several probable explanations that could lead to a final conclusion. Firstly it is probable that the object was formed from natural geological depressions on the seabed.

The probability that the object was an ancient man made structure similar to the one in Stonehenge, perhaps build several thousands of years ago that has been covered by the ocean.

Whatever the "object" turns out to be it does make an interesting talking point.

It's said that geometric shapes are rare in nature, CMore. Although there are notable exceptions (starfish and sand dollars, speaking of the ocean).

I'd like to know what it is, so please speak up of you find out!!

Cool story! Unfortunately, this is probably one of those stories we'll never hear the result of because most people would rather hear about Lindsey Lohan!

Hi There,

How this story turns out is anyone’s guess.
It may take some time before we find out
until then I will do my best to keep an update.
I would much rather read a story like this than
read about badly behaved “celebrities”
