“Talking” Sun

If our Sun could talk It tell us a very interesting story. Although as silly as it may sound our Sun is telling
us something.
Our Sun is giving us an insight over the past several hundred years of documented Solar history.
With all the ongoing debate about global warming are we heading for a mini ice age instead.
Our Sun undergoes a cyclic regime that peaks every 11 years.
The peaks and troughs are marked by a series of high sunspot activity with an increase in solar storms.
In the last few years our Sun has gone through a lower than average solar minimum.
The last time our Sun entered a well below average solar minimum,was1859.
It seem that history is beginning to repeat itself with a longer than average period of low solar activity.
With every decrease in solar activity, the opposite occurs the Sun begins to produce a more rapid burst of
solar activity.
Sun will reach its eleven year cycle in 2013 2014.
Solar activity data daring back several hundreds of year found from 1645 to 1715 the Sun entered a period of “sleep”,there was no appreciable solar activity recorded the low activity persisted of some 70 years.
During this period of time the world met with extended periods of below average temperatures.
Recent studies conducted on the Sun over the past 7
years indicated that the Sun may be heading for another solar hibernation producing lower than average temperatures
like the ones experienced in1645 to 1715.
The current data suggests that the Sun is not proceeding as it normally would when emerging
from a solar minimum. There is now way of telling how long this
low period of solar activity will last. If the Sun continues to
proceed in a low state of activity the world will experience
mild to lower than normal temperatures.
This will certainly make the debate of global warming interesting.
Instead of a rise in temperature predicted to be several degrees
over the next
100 years there may be a decrease in temperature not caused by the process of burning fossil fuels, but by the Sun itself.
But our Sun has a sinister side for every period of low activity these
is a rapid rise in solar activity that can cause serious problem for us
on Earth.
The last time the Sun entered a lower than average solar minimum, was 1859.What followed after that solar minimum was a huge solar
storm .
The solar storm was so severe that it caused the entire telegraph
facilities to fail and in some instances setting fire
to some of the telegraph infrastructure.

If your Greenies are anything like ours be prepared to pay through the nose. Our new carbon tax in Australia is put on us compliments of the greenies who just happen to hold the numbers in our government.
