“Structure” Claimed to be on Mars

Bio Station Alpha
No sign of the object in question

It seems that someone made a “find” in the last few days according to a viral video regarding a “structure “ on Mars.
A person has laid claims he has found evidence of something on Mars.
Calling it "Bio Station Alpha, because I'm just assuming that something lives in it or has lived in it". Said quote from the observer. A structure claimed to be 700 feet long and 150 feet wide.

He claims the coordinates of Bio Station Alpha are 71 49'19.73"N 29 33'06.53"W and that anyone who has downloaded the Google Earth software can see it.

Well that’s funny if NASA did not spot the said” structure” how come that missed it.

Before we get carried away here we need to see some evidence. A series of grainy images is not evidence that it is a real structure.

The most probable answer is that the “structure” is not a structure after all just a digital artefact a remnant bit of data missing from the original picture. Just like the “face” of mars image.

Another scenario is that its is an ice patch uncovered by the Martian winds but that is pure speculation.
(But some people cling to the belief that image was a true image of a face which turned out to be an unusual angle of a rock formation..)

Google Mars is just a raw composite of images taken by NASA space missions to Mars the images shown on Google Mars are low resolution images stitched together to form a “complete” image of Martian surface.

Images form Google Earth are not a true representation of the Martian surface at best there are just a guide. I have looked at near the stated co ordinates using Google Mars and could not make out any reference to the “Structure”

I suspect this structure is just a bit of creative imagination.

Makes you wonder, though, doesn't it? Was life ever on Mars, even bacterial life? Or was it an outpost for someone else? Or is it just there...

Hi S.L.

We can assume given the frequency and the diversity of living creatures including bacteria living on Earth. Given what we know life may have existed elsewhere in the our Solar System and beyond.
We already know that bacteria can live in hot toxic environments like near undersea hot vents.
Mars may have had the ingredients to support some type of life, it may still have hidden pockets of dormant bacteria.

It is possible that life originated on Mars when the climate more fovourable and that some form of life reached Earth in the past.
Perhaps when we get a fossil sample of plant or other fragment from Mars we can start to piece together how life started. Until then we can only speculate.

After all we may all be Martians.
