"Snoring" Sky!!

A little something that will keep the conspiracy theorists happy.

The “problem” arose after residents in several countries were kept awake(perhaps the remnants of a bad curry) by a "snoring" sky.

People in Malaysia Hungary and Canada heard what seems to be the same sound that continued over a period of two night running.
Apparently this has made front page news in some countries several days ago.

Some residents described the sound as a loud whooshing noise, similar to someone snoring.

The day after the “snoring” sounds were heard, a 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck the neighbouring country of Indonesia.

So far no one has come up with a plausible explanation why. There are a few explanations why this phenomenon has occurred.

Earthquakes give off low frequency sounds that can travel for several thousands of kilometres, usually these sounds are too low to be heard by the human ear.

The low frequency sounds given off by earthquakes could react with other environmental factors within the earth and could give rise to them being manifested as “snoring” sounds that are audible.

This is just a theory and as yet for the present remains unsubstantiated.
There is yet another plausible explanation in the late 1960s and early 70s the Russians were experimenting with high power radio transmitters using radio as a form of radar.( you could hear the radar "jammer" on the ham the ham radio frequencies back then)

The process is still being used by many countries world wide, the process is now more sophisticated. Basically radio waves are being used to “see” over the horizon.

In 2007, the USA completed work on a $250 million research station near the Arctic circle known as the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program ( HAARP).

The HAARP complex is situated over 30 acres of land within lies a massive antenna farm about 180 in total.

There are several high-power transmitters on the site built in collaboration with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The purpose of this equipment is to study the ionosphere.

I have worked on ionosphere research projects in the past although they employ the study
how radio frequencies affect the ionosphere there are also used for military communication and surveillance.

We even have a HAARP installation in Australia no doubt sponsored in part by the US.( The HAARP installation is said to be larger than the one situated in Alaska.)

I think it is time we all put on our metal hats. I know I say this in jest but there can be extenuating circumstance why these “snoring” sounds have been heard.

AS yet no official explanation has been given as to why these sounds were heard.
Rest assured we will be kept informed by the conspiracy theorists in the coming weeks and days.

If I ever hear the sky snoring, CMore, I'll turn the TV on and wait for news of an earthquake. It could wind up being an effective predictor, from the sound of it.
