The holiday season is great but I tend to get a little behind with my blogs and updating information on Astronomy subjects. So I decided to add a few bits of information for the time being on things that may be of interest and are relatively easy to spot without the need for telescopes.
The Moon and Jupiter will be in close proximity and can be easley seen around Australian eastern coast line on the December 29 and 30 this month try looking west at around 7.30 EASTERN Australian daylight times.
For people living in U.S.A December 31 at 6am the Moon and Venus are clearly seen in the south eastern sky. If you have a few spare moments take a look at the skies you may be surprised at what you see.
