Men’s Problems
Well we may have heard the term “women’s problem” mentioned in general conversation although this term is now outdated in today’s world and rightly so.
But now that I have you attention I would like to mention a problem that relates to men particularly older men and the onset of prostate problems (hey men’s plumbing is complicated)
About 5 years ago I was diagnosed as having BPH “You have BPH benign prostatic hyperplasia” I have what? I asked the doctor.
I was totally gob smacked I imagined the worse case scenario.
The doctor indicated that my prostate gland had become enlarged and was causing a decrease in urinary flow to the extent that it was difficult to go to the toilet and the time it took to empty my bladder required a volume of WAR and PEACE.
I had 3 options, have surgery which meant a cut and shut do nothing, or go on medication.
Surgery was out of the question ( not for me) So I went on a course of medication which proceeded to have side- effects. I did some research on alternative medicines and found that a concentration of ginger extract in liquid form worked wonders for me.
Before embarking on a course of alternative treatment consult your doctor first. Blokes approaching 40 years and over should have a medical check up, It is better to be sure than sorry later.
Fortunately my prostate problem was not serious and that early intervention had made a big difference in treatment.

At least it acknowledges that these do exist and for some women a lot.
I have never used the expression nor had it used of me, but if that is the comfortable way some refer to these things, it's OK by me.
I have heard some alternative references which I found uncouth to say the least of it.
I do hope things continue to go well for you, I'd be interested to know just how the alternative treatment was supposed to work, ginger thins the blood but I would not have thought that relevant here.
