The Southern Cross can be easily seen if you look to the south west.

Want to see a full moon rising over the horizon, look to the east at about 5:45pm July 18.
The Planet Venus will make its transition form the morning sky to the evening sky on July 28, for the past 9 months Venus has been seen in the morning sky. Venus will make its welcome return and can be seen very low in the western sky just after sunset.
