Casting doubt on the 1960’s Moon landing is becoming more difficult to uphold.
This due to the high resolution images on board NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) in orbit around the Moon. Normally the LRO takes images
from a height of an altitude of 50 kilometers (30 miles). Recently the probe was put in lower orbit, allowing
more detailed images of the surface.LRO’s orbit was lowered to 21 km (13 miles).
This allowed LRO to image the Moon’s surface at a much greater detail than ever before.
The probe’s cameras were able to capture the discarded remnants of the past Apollo missions and map where humans once walked on the Moon.
Even the most powerful Earth telescopes cannot resolve fine detailed extremely tiny objects from Earth. People who thing is should be possible to so have been watching too much CSI, no spy satellite has the necessary cohunes to see at a distance of 384403 Km.
CURRENT MOON
The LRO took many images of the landing sites of various Apollo missions.Image showing the decent stage of Apollo 12. Images of Apollo 14 and 17 Landing sites were also taken showing various equipment such as lunar rovers and other scientific equipment. You can even see the tracks of the lunar rover’s wheels imprinted on the dusty Moon’s surface.
The images are so detailed that they can reveal the Apollo 17 astronaut’s footprints as they explored the moon’s surface.
The footprints and other various bits of equipment should remain visible for millions of years to come until finally the lunar dust will cover the tracks left by humans from Earth.
