Humans are not the only masters of Language.

Humans as we know are a pretty adaptable bunch we rely on mostly verbal communication.
Language is expressed in many different ways depending on culture region or country.
Most of the speech syntax is based on sounds using a mixture of vowels and constantans most of these vowels are used worldwide, there many other variants as well.
Perhaps one of the most interesting insights in communication is the language used by Humpback whales. Humpback communicate using ultra low frequency sound and by the use of” song”.
Whales do not use the “song” in a traditional sense like we humans do, but we can see elements of language within their songs"
There are numerous species of whales that communicate; perhaps the most interesting one from my perspective are the Humpback whales.
Hundreds of whales use the southern ocean especially the east coast of Australia on their yearly migratory pilgrimage to warmer waters.
The plight of the Blue whale is bordering on extinction. There were once an estimated 200,000 to 300,000 Blue whales in the Southern Hemisphere, currently that number is closer to 1,200. These creatures are perhaps the loudest in the world yet they are seldom heard.
We do not know enough about how to decode the language of the whales but we are getting better at finding commonalities. Interesting bits of language repetition were adopted by other whales pods .
These studies found similar sounds were used by in other species of whales . Whales use language and dialects to forward information on feeding and breeding areas.
The low sounds emitted by whales travel for kilometers, the song is then relayed to other whales who then pass it on and a cycle of communication is established.
An Australian researcher has found that whales who sing a specific “song “in one region of the ocean is copied by other whales on the other side of the globe. The song seems to migrate to other whales who then use the same patterns in the song, in a process that takes about a year.

The Political Brief
If whale songs could be translated, it might be interesting to find out what they say. I suspect they don't have a very high opinion of humans...

Hi S.L. welcome back I see you have been taking care of the “Kids”
I agree art mirroring life.
If Whales could speak our language I shudder to think what they would say about our species.
