Abundant Planets

Are there more stars than planets through the universe?
An interesting scenario, there are around 200 to 450 billion stars in our
galaxy the Milky Way.
Making an estimate on the stars in the Milky Way does not give us a definitive figure. What I mean by this statement is that there may well be large bodied planets the size of Jupiter and above roaming free with now star to keep them In check.
That means that there could be as many as a trillion large bodied planets drifting freely In interstellar space. These rogue planets are just drifting aimlessly through space with out a star to guide them.
Research data suggest that these aimless planets may
out number the stars themselves. If we take into account that every star has on average at least 3 planets.
of 50 million stars located in close proximity within the Milky Way. Researchers used the telescope facilities In Chile to record changes
in the brightness of each individual star.
Another 500 stars within the group showed marked changes in brightness. These brief surges in brightness was caused by gravitational lensing the result of objects passing in front of a star.
The brightness of a star would slowly alter within a period of a few days.
The research data suggests that the change In a star’s luminosity was caused by a very large object passing in front of a star at a distance of billions of kilometers.
It seems feasible that wide spread chaos was more rampant than once thought.
